IRF4 Antibody [CoraFluor™ 1] Summary

Description
CoraFluor(TM) 1 is a high performance terbium-based TR-FRET (Time-Resolved Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer) or TRF (Time-Resolved Fluorescence) donor for high throughput assay development. CoraFluor(IM) 1 absorbs UV light at approximately 340 nm, and emits at approximately 490 nm, 545 nm, 585 nm and 620 nm. It is compatible with common acceptor dyes that absorb at the emission wavelengths of CoraFluor(TM) 1. CoraFluor(TM) 1 can be used for the development of robust and scalable TR-FRET binding assays such as target engagement, ternary complex, protein-protein interaction and protein quantification assays.
Immunogen
Antibody was raised against a 16 amino acid synthetic peptide near the carboxy terminus of human IRF4. The immunogen is located within the last 50 amino acids of IRF4. Amino Acid Squence: NPEDYHRSIRHSSIQE
Specificity
IRF4 antibody is predicted to not cross-react with other IRF protein family members. IRF4 often migrates at a higher than predicted molecular weight in SDS-PAGE.

Background

Transcriptional activator. Binds to the interferon-stimulated response element (ISRE) of the MHC class I promoter. Binds the immunoglobulin lambda light chain enhancer, together with PU.1. Probably plays a role in ISRE-targeted signal transduction mechanisms specific to lymphoid cells
