Human XCL1/Lymphotactin Quantikine ELISA Kit Summary

Background
The Quantikine Human XCL1/Lymphotactin Immunoassay is a 4.5 hour solid-phase ELISA designed to measure human Lymphotactin in cell culture supernates, serum, and plasma. It contains E. coli-expressed recombinant human Lymphotactin and has been shown to accurately quantitate the recombinant factor. Results obtained using natural human Lymphotactin showed linear curves that were parall...el to the standard curves obtained using the Quantikine kit standards. These results indicate that this kit can be used to determine relative mass values for naturally occurring human Lymphotactin.

Background

Lymphotactin (Lptn), also known as SCM-1a and ATAC, belongs to the C or gamma subfamily of chemokines and has been designated XCL1. Human Lymphotactin encodes a 114 amino acid (aa) precursor with a 21 aa predicted signal peptide. The gene for lymphotactin has been mapped to chromosome 1 in both human and mouse.
