Background

Blue light-dependent regulator of the circadian feedback loop. Inhibits CLOCK NPAS2-ARNTL E box-mediatedtranscription. Acts, in conjunction with CRY2, in maintaining period length and circadian rhythmicity. Has nophotolyase activity. Capable of translocating circadian clock core proteins such as PER proteins to the nucleus. Mayinhibit CLOCK NPAS2-ARNTL transcriptional activity through stabilizing the unphosphorylated form of ARNTL

Flow (Intracellular): BMAL1 Antibody [NB100-2288] - An intracellular stain was performed on HeLa cells with NB100-2288AF647(blue) and a matched isotype control (orange). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and then permeabilized with 0.1% saponin. Cells were incubated in an antibody dilution of 5 ug/mL for 30 minutes at room temperature. Both antibodies were conjugated to Alexa Fluor 647.
