Background
Uteroglobin, also known as secretoglobin family 1A member 1 (SCGB1A1), is a protein with anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory properties. It is a member of the secretoglobin family, which includes small, secreted, disulfide-bridged dimeric proteins found only in mammals. Uteroglobin is a secretory protein induced by progesterone. It is present in the mucosal epithelia of nearly all organs and in many body fluids. The protein is also involved in anti-chemotactic, anti-allergic, anti-tumorigenic, and embryonic growth-stimulatory activities.

MAB4218 Uteroglobin antibody Can you tell me if it reacts in mouse tissue?
- This product has not yet been tested with mouse samples and based on the sequence homology (52%) we do not anticipate this product being able to detect the mouse protein. If you are looking for a mouse antibody for this target, we have two products that might be better options: NBP2-75705 and NBP2-90517.
