Background

KLRC3 codes for a protein that works as a receptor for the recognition of MHC molecules by natural killers, and in some cases cytotoxic T-cells. KLRC3 is a gene made up of two isoforms, measuring 240 and 257 amino acids in length, and weighing approximately 27 and 29 kDa respectively. Studies have been done on diseases and disorders relating to this gene including monkeypox. KLRC3 has also been shown to have interactions with KLRD1, TYROBP, HLA-A, and HLA-C in pathways such as the antigen processing and natural killer cell mediated cytotoxicity pathways.

Limitations

This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Peptides and proteins are guaranteed for 3 months from date of receipt.
