  • Immunohistochemistry 2.5 - 3.8 ug/ml
  • Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin 2.5 - 3.8 ug/ml
  • Peptide ELISA Detection limit 1:64000
  • Western Blot 0.1 - 0.3 ug/ml
Application Notes
WB: Approx. 38 kDa band observed in lysates of human Skin, testis and thyroid gland (calculated size of 33.3 kDa band according to NP_079058.1). The observed molecular weight corresponds to findings with antibodies from other sources. The 38 kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide. IHC-P: Human placenta shows nuclear staining in trophoblasts.

Background

XLF (also known as Cernunnos) is a DNA repair protein involved in DNA nonhomologous end joining (NHEJ) required for double-strand break (DSB) repair and V(D)J recombination. It may serve as a bridge between XRCC4 and the other NHEJ factors located at DNA ends, or may participate in reconfiguration of the end bound NHEJ factors to allow XRCC4 access to the DNA termini

Limitations
