- ANTI-PRE ELISA MICRO PLATE: Twelve removable eight (8) well micro well strips inwell holder frame. Each well is coated with affinity purified anti-PRE.
- Chromogen-Substrate Solution: One vial containing 3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine(TMB) and hydrogen peroxide in citric acid buffer at pH 3.3.
- Diluent Concentrate (Running Buffer): One bottle containing 5X concentrated diluentrunning buffer.
- Enzyme-Antibody Conjugate 100X: One vial containing affinity-purified anti- PREantibody conjugated with horseradish peroxidase in a stabilizing buffer.
- MOUSE PRE CALIBRATOR: One vial containing a lyophilized Mouse PRE calibrator.
- Stop Solution: One vial containing 0.3 M sulfuric acid. WARNING: Avoid contact withskin.
- Wash Solution Concentrate: One bottle containing 20X concentrated wash solution.

Background
Prealbumin is a serum protein usually occurring at 200-400mg/L serum. Prealbumin migrates faster than albumin in acidic starch gels and include alpha 1 antitrypsin, thyroxine binding prealbumin, and orosomucoid, an alpha 1 acid glycoprotein. The functions of prealbumin are to transport thyroxine, a task it shares with thyroxine binding globulin, retinol binding protein and vitamin A. Polymorphism of prealbumin is known in the mouse and pig.
