Background
Aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases catalyze the aminoacylation of tRNA by their cognate amino acid. Because of their central role in linking amino acids with nucleotide triplets contained in tRNAs, aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases are thought to be among the first proteins that appeared in evolution. Threonyl-tRNA synthetase belongs to the class-II aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase family [provided by RefSeq]

FAQs for TARS Antibody (NBP2-20567). (Showing 1 - 1 of 1 FAQ).
I'm interested in your TARS antibody (NBP2-20567). I'm planning on using it on S. aureus and possibly some other gram-positive bacteria, and wanted to ask if it will likely recognize the bacterial ThrRS?
We have not yet tested our product NBP2-20567 with bacterial samples, so I am not sure what the capability of detection is. I was also not able to find the bacterial ThrRS protein sequence to run an alignment against. If you have the protein sequence for the bacterial samples you would like to test against, I will be happy to run the alignments for you to see if they might work with our antibody.Otherwise, if you want to try our antibody anyways with your samples, you can take advantage of our Innovator's Reward Program. Our Innovator’s Reward™ program was created to allow researchers the opportunity to try our primary antibodies in an untested species or application, without the financial risk of failure. To participate you simply purchase the product as normal and submit an online review detailing your positive or negative results. In return, you receive a discount voucher for 100% of the purchase price of the reviewed product to use in a future purchase of your choice. Reviews may also be submitted by emailing innovators@novusbio.com.
