Background

PTEN is a protein tyrosine phosphatase that acts as a tumor suppressor, as a lipid phosphatase that dephosphorylates the D3 position of phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-trisphosphate and as an antagonist of the PI3k/AKT signaling pathway (1-3). PTEN structural domains includes an N-terminal phosphatase domain, a lipid binding C2 domain and a 50-amino acid C-terminal tail that contains a PD biding sequence (5). Flow Cytometry: p53 Antibody (PAb 240) [NB200-103] - An intracellular stain was performed on HeLa cells with p53 (PAb240) NB200-103AF647 (blue) and a matched isotype control (orange). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and then permeablized with 0.1% saponin. Cells were incubated in an antibody dilution of 2.5 ug/mL for 30 minutes at room temperature.
