CD30 Ligand/TNFSF8 Antibody (RM153) [FITC] Summary
Additional Information |
Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody |
Immunogen |
This antibody was raised by immunising Sprague Dawley rats with the CHO cells stably transfected with murine CD30 Ligand/TNFSF8 and fusing the splenocytes with P3U1 myeloma cells. |
Specificity |
This antibody is specific for murine CD30 Ligand/TNFSF8, a 40-kDa type II transmembrane protein member of the TNF superfamily. Interaction of CD30 with CD30 Ligand/TNFSF8 plays an important role in T cell activation/costimulation. |

Alternate Names for CD30 Ligand/TNFSF8 Antibody (RM153) [FITC]
Background
CD153 is a 39-40 kD type II membrane glycoprotein, also known as CD30 ligand or CD30L. This TNF superfamily member is expressed on activated T cells. CD153 has been reported to stimulate B-cell proliferation, antigen-specific antibody production, polyclonal immunoglobulin secretion, and T cell activation and proliferation. The RM153 antibody inhibits binding of CD153 to CD30.
Limitations
This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Primary Antibodies are
guaranteed for 1 year from date of receipt.
