Background

Nucleoporins are the main components of the nuclear pore complex (NPC) of eukaryotic cells. They are involved in the bidirectional trafficking of molecules, especially mRNAs and proteins, between the nucleus and the cytoplasm. The protein encoded by this gene does not contain the typical FG repeat sequences found in most vertebrate nucleoporins. Two protein isoforms are encoded by transcript variants of this gene. Molarity Calculator

Calculate the mass, volume, or concentration required for a solution.

The molarity calculator is based on the following equation:

Mass (g) = Concentration (mol/L) x Volume (L) x Molecular Weight (g/mol)

As an example, if the molecular weight of a compound is 197.13 g/mol and the desired concentration is 10 mM for 10 ml of water based stock solution, the required mass would be = 19.713 (value determined by this calculator).
