Western blot shows lysates of RPMI 8226 human multiple myeloma cell line and K562 human chronic myelogenous leukemia cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Goat Anti-Human FCRL4/FcRH4 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF2426) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (HAF019). A specific band was detected for FCRL4/FcRH4 at approximately 58 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 8.

Background

FcRH4, also known as IRTA1 (immunoglobulin superfamily receptor translocation associated 1), is a member of the Ig superfamily. It shares sequence homology with the classical Fc receptors. FcRH4 is preferentially expressed in B cells and contains three potential ITIM motifs in its extracellular domain. The gene for FcRH4 is localized to the human chromosome Iq 21‑23 region, a hotspot for translocation events.
