Tubby like protein 4 may be a substrate-recognition component of a SCF-like ECS (Elongin-Cullin-SOCS-box protein) E3 ubiquitinligase complex which mediates the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins (Bysimilarity)
