Background

TCEAL1 (Transcription elongation factor A protein-like 1) is belongs to transcription elongation factor A (SII)-like (TCEAL) family. This family may function as nuclear phosphoproteins that modulate transcription in a promoter context-dependent manner. It involved in transcriptional regulation. This protein expressed in all tissues, especially highly expressed in heart, ovary, prostate and skeletal muscle. Recombinant human TCEAL1 protein, fused to His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.

Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: PCNA Antibody (PC10) [NB500-106] - HeLa cells were fixed and permeabilized for 10 minutes using cold (-20C) MeOH. The cells were incubated with anti-PCNA [PC10] at 5 ug/mL overnight at 4C and detected with an anti-mouse IgG Dylight 488 (Green) at a 1:500 dilution. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (Blue). Cells were imaged using a 40X objective.

Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and then permeablized with 0.1% saponin. Cells were incubated in an antibody dilution of 2.5 ug/mL for 30 minutes at room temperature. Both antibodies were conjugated to Alexa Fluor 647.
