Background

MINK1 (misshapen/NIKs-related kinase 1) is a member of the germinal center kinase (GCK) family that are homologous to the yeast sterile 20 (Ste20) kinases. GCKs function in the activation of the JNK pathway. MINK1 has been found to activate the JNK pathway and may have a role in modulating cytoskeletal organization, cell adhesion, and cell migration during development.

Limitations

Molarity Calculator

Calculate the mass, volume, or concentration required for a solution.

The molarity calculator is based on the following equation:

Mass (g) = Concentration (mol/L) x Volume (L) x Molecular Weight (g/mol)

As an example, if the molecular weight of a compound is 197.13 g/mol and the desired concentration is 10 mM for 10 ml of water based stock solution, the required mass would be = 19.713 (value determined by this calculator).
