Background

Belonging to the small GTPase superfamily/Ras family, RABL4 possesses GTPase activity. More specifically, RABL4 encodes a GTP-binding protein that is a main component of the intraflagellar transport complex B. RABL4 interacts with HSPB11, AXIN2, CSNK1A1, CSNK1E and GSK3B. Biological processes associated with RABL4 include cilium assembly, kidney development and small GTPase mediated signal transduction.
