Background

Dynactin 6 is encoded by this gene contains an RGD (Arg-Gly-Asp) motif in the N-terminal region, which confers adhesive properties to macromolecular proteins like fibronectin. It shares a high degree of sequence similarity with the mouse homolog, which has been suggested to play a role in mitochondrial biogenesis. The exact biological function of this gene is not known. Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: PCNA Antibody (PC10) [NB500-106] - HeLa cells were fixed and permeabilized for 10 minutes using cold (-20C) MeOH. The cells were incubated with anti-PCNA [PC10] at 5 ug/mL overnight at 4C and detected with an anti-mouse IgG Dylight 488 (Green) at a 1:500 dilution. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (Blue). Cells were imaged using a 40X objective.
