Recombinant Mouse LBP induces IL-8 secretion in the THP‑1 human acute monocytic leukemia cell line in the presence of 5 ng/mL LPS in a dose-dependent manner (orange line), as measured by the Human IL-8 Quantikine kit (Catalog # D8000C). Under these conditions, IL-8 secretion elicited by LBP is neutralized (green line) by increasing concentrations of Rat Anti-Mouse LBP Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB6635). The ND50 is typically 1-5 μg/mL.

Western blot shows lysates of mouse ovary tissue. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Sheep Anti-Mouse LBP Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF6635) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF016). A specific band was detected for LBP at approximately 65 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.
