Description
RAB26 belongs to the RAB family of proteins which are involved regulation of vesicular trafficking. RAB26 is involved in several biological processes including exocrine system development, protein transport, regulation of exocytosis and transport. RAB26 is known to have interactions with GCH1, RPH3AL, RIMS1, RPH3A and PCSK6. Studies of RAB26 have been conducted in relation to carcinoma, neuronitis and transitional cell carcinoma.
