Notes

This product is produced by and distributed for Abnova, a company based in Taiwan.

Background

Cholesterol circulates in the blood as a free acid, as well as esterified to long-chain fatty acids called cholesteryl esters. Elevated levels of cholesterol and cholesteryl esters have been linked to atherosclerosis and heart disease, and has resulted in a large amount of research focused in the understanding of cholesterol homeostasis.

Limitations

This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Kits are guaranteed for 6 months from date of receipt.
