Description
POLN, also known as DNA polymerase nu, is localized to the nucleus and highly expressed in the heart and testis. Current research on POLN is being performed in relation to several diseases and disorders including Fanconi anemia, pneumonia, and tuberculosis. POLN has also been shown to have interactions with PCNA, FANCA, FANCG, FANCD2, and RAD51 in the DNA replication and DNA repair pathways.
