cIAP2 (baculoviral IAP repeat containing 3) belongs to the IAP family which are suppressors of apoptosis. cIAP2 has a variety of functions including regulation of caspases, modulating inflammatory immunity and signaling and cell proliferation. This protein is known to have interactions with TRAF2, DIABLO, RIPK1, RIPK2 and CASP3. cIAP2 has been studied in relation to lymphoma, leukemia, and several forms of cancer.
