Background

FUNCTION: Mediates the uptake of glutamate into synaptic vesicles at presynaptic nerve terminals of excitatory neural cells. May also mediate the transport of inorganic phosphate.; SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cytoplasmic vesicle, secretory vesicle, synaptic vesicle membrane. Membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. Cell junction, synapse, synaptosome.

  2. What is the isotype of vGlut1 primary antibody. NBP1-20267?
    • This antibody is a sheep polyclonal antibody and is supplied as whole antisera. Therefore is a mixture of all isotypes as well as other proteins. You can perform a purification step if needed. Please see 860-0005 as a kit that will purify out IgG isotype
