Background

The Bloom's syndrome gene, BLM, plays an important role in the maintenance of genomic stability in somatic cells. The BLM protein is a 1417 amino acid peptide with homology to the RecQ helicases, a subfamily of DexH-box-containing DNA and RNA helicases.

Limitations

This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Peptides and proteins are guaranteed for 3 months from date of receipt.

Molarity Calculator

Calculate the mass, volume, or concentration required for a solution.

The molarity calculator is based on the following equation:

Mass (g) = Concentration (mol/L) x Volume (L) x Molecular Weight (g/mol)

As an example, if the molecular weight of a compound is 197.13 g/mol and the desired concentration is 10 mM for 10 ml of water based stock solution, the required mass would be = 19.713 (value determined by this calculator).
