Publications
Read Publications using NBP1-18950 in the following applications:
Stem cells offer a therapeutic promise for many diseases. In the case of diabetes, stem cells offer the promise that beta cells may be generated ex vivo for the possible transplantation and cure of Type I diabetes (Couri CE, et al.). For this to happen, stem cells will need to be isolated and expanded, they will need to be differentiated toward the beta cell lineage, and the differentiated cell progeny used for transplantation may need to be isolated from complex cell mixtures following differentiation. Appropriate markers targeting cell surface molecules on developing and mature pancreatic cells will be required for such research.

FAQs for HPa2 Antibody (NBP1-18950). (Showing 1 - 2 of 2 FAQs).
I would be interested by the Test samples for HPi2 and HPa2 antibodies. I would like to use them for FACS and combine them to dissociate human pancreatic alpha-cells and beta-cells as described in Dorrell C et al Diabetologia 2011. However according to your website, both NBP1-18946 and NBP1-18950 seem to be Mouse IgG1, whereas it is stated in ESM Table 2 of this paper that HPa2 would be an IgM. Could you please explain me this discrepancy ?
I can confirm that our HPa2 Ab is IgG1. Our Hpi2 antibody is also IgG1. I checked these in our internal database.
Does HPa2 cross react with other species? Specifically mouse or monkey?
NBP1-18950 hasn't been tested in mouse or monkey but is predicted to cross react with both. It is not guaranteed for use in these species, but if you would like to test this antibody in an untested species and/or application and share your results with us, then I can recommend our Innovators Reward Program. Under this program by completing an online review with image, detailing your positive or negative results, you receive a discount voucher for 100% of the purchase price of the reviewed product.
